City Limits Taproom and Grille, the popular Deland, Florida bar, recently moved from its previous location to 4425 North US Highway 17. To bring a new atmosphere to the already popular bar and restaurant, owner Peter Ferrentino scheduled the re-opening for early October.
“We are excited to give our customers a new experience,” Ferrentino told Daytona Examiner, “City Limits will be the spot in Volusia county!”
25-years-ago, Peter Ferrentino, a young Deland entrepreneur, made a living in the vending machine industry before starting his new venture, the City Limits Taproom and Grille. Ferrentino’s journey began in 2007, with the purchase of what would become the birthplace of City Limits. Ferrentino became the landlord of the former H2O bar. In 2015, Mr. James Knight approached Ferrentino to create a new bar in the old building. After a bit of paperwork, Knight’s work began in creating one of Volusia county’s hottest spots.
In 2019, Knight approached Ferrentino again, but this time with an investment opportunity. Knight wanted to combine his vision with Ferrentino’s resources, and a partnership was born. The two got to work, and have been expanding their bar and restaurant empire ever since.
As part of the decision to revolutionize the scope of what City Limits can offer its community, the new location features a larger space for planned events. Having outgrown the previous location, the new City Limits will allow for more parking and bigger events than ever before.
Conveniently placed on Highway 17, the new City Limits is easily accessible to residents of both Deleon Springs and Deland. And, with four acres of commercial property, the opportunities for what Ferrentino and Knight will create are endless.
City Limits is known for its live music. Guests can expect to see local bands along with more popular artists and performers. And if you’re looking for a place to sing with friends, warm up your vocal cords and get ready to hit the stage. City Limits has earned a reputation for being the spot for Karaoke.
City Limit’s menu boasts popular foods sourced locally here in Volusia County. The menu features classic entrees along with employee-invented entrees for its guests to enjoy. During the day, City Limits caters to the demand for a delicious dining experience, and during the evening they offer quality food for a relaxing night on the town.
The people of Deland can take advantage of this unique bar and restaurant experience day and night. Guests will experience a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere complete with good music, televised sporting events, and delicious food. One way City Limits is giving back to their community is by allowing customers to use their premises for planned events and get-togethers. Gatherings at City Limits will become more and more common as people visit the new location and see all that it has to offer.
“Everyone is family here,” Ferrentino stated in an interview about the patrons of City Limits.
The City Limits team is very close and built on strong values. City Limits is overseen by its owners, Peter Ferrentino and James Knight, and the loyal staff who ensure the success of the company.
The Grand Opening for the new City Limits is scheduled for Friday, October 8th, 2021 at 4425 North Highway 17 in Deland, Florida.
